At Accredit Solutions, we are launching an initiative that aims to bridge the gap between the events industry and the next generation of up-and-coming event professionals. We want to create the springboard for young people to gain firsthand exposure to the real world of events but more importantly accreditation, offering unique experiences that will allow them to learn our world and how we operate with some of the biggest events worldwide.
How does it fit into the broader picture of event management?
Accreditation is more than just issuing a pass or device to an individual, it’s about ensuring the right people have the means to access the right places, safely and efficiently. To ensure that this key point is delivered it is Important that the individuals who in position to deliver Accreditation understand the clear principles required to implement Accreditation to the highest level. As the awareness of Accreditation becomes more and more prominent in today’s event world, Accredit Solutions has committed to producing as many qualified individuals as possible to grow and strengthen what is a key area in today’s events world.
To outline the process of how Accreditation is implemented from concept to delivery, the key areas to know and define and the various challenges/ pitfalls to watch out for. Helping young people understand the importance of the above only enhances their ability to play a part in accreditation operations or more importantly run the full accreditation operations when the opportunity becomes available with the experience behind them.
In addition to the theory, there needs to be the practical experience to see how this knowledge is applied in the real-world environment. At Accredit, we look to provide the practical, hands-on learning experiences in event accreditation. With our many clients and their brands providing direct involvement in live events, participants can gain invaluable insight and experience into accreditation. From sporting spectacles to large scale conferences, this initiative ensures that the next generation of event professionals is well equipped to step into the accreditation field with both knowledge and experience.
By working closely with higher education institutions, we aim to make young people aware of the significance of accreditation and its role in the broader event ecosystem. Our goal is to give them the tools they need so they are ready to take the opportunities available to them with both hands with the confidence to know they are ready to deliver.
This initiative is just the beginning of our commitment to shaping the future of event accreditation. We’re excited to see what comes next, and we’re looking forward to working with more higher education institutes and organisations to further expand our initiative.
