The system we previously used to use was very basic. It required a lot of manual work and was essentially just spreadsheet based. Accredit are streets ahead. At Brentford Community Stadium, we use Accredit Solutions for Accreditation and Access Control for both Brentford FC and London Irish RFC matches. By using Accredit Solutions, we ensure a secure stadium for all matchday operations and management of attendance for all staff, contractors and sports teams.

It is extremely beneficial as it provides us with compete awareness of who is in the stadium and it allows us to control access to areas to protect our teams, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Added benefits include incorporating a COVID-19 health questionnaire into our accreditation process, no paper handling and an easy and efficient system that allows more time to focus on other areas of our operation.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (CWC19) was the biggest event to take place in the UK with 58 matches taking place across 11 venues over a 6-week period across England and Wales. This tournament presented logistical challenges for accreditation as venue capacities varied and therefore the scale of workforce required, and resources available fluctuated. Accredit Solutions provided the accreditation system to enable us to accredit over 35,000 people for the tournament, many of whom had to go through a security background check. They provided an accreditation platform that we could configure to our tournament requirements to aid different venues and client groups and in addition help deliver RFID scanning the first time ever at an ICC Cricket World Cup. The Accredit Solutions team were always available and proactive in supporting CWC19 accreditation to resolve any unforeseen challenges which contributed to making the accreditation project a major achievement and a pleasure to be a part of a successful team.
