Working hours: 9am – 6pm EST Monday to Friday & occasional weekend cover

Job Purpose:
To perform DevSecOps & CloudOps functions to support the Accredit Solutions SaaS global platform ensuring it is always available and secure. To be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our AWS infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. This role is critical in supporting our development and operations teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the existing multi-region cloud environment on sizing, backup and recovery, performance management, tuning and patching servers and remediating Security findings.
- Continuously monitor system performance and availability, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CDKTF, Terrascan, Terraform Docs, CloudFormation for efficient infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor, identify, mitigate, and troubleshoot AWS and challenging migration/upgrade issues.
- Database maintenance for RDS instances, including sizing and provisioning, index maintenance and monitoring of logs and database alarms.
- Support the application development teams with any performance issues.
- Maintain CloudWatch and Datadog alerts to monitor existing architecture.
- Cost Management & Optimisation: Track usage, analyse costs, and make recommendations to optimise cloud spend.
- Respond to and resolve incidents promptly, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and implement SecOps automation and runbooks to enhance security operations, streamline incident response, and ensure compliance
- Ensure that CloudOps, IaC & associated processes align with any applicable information security requirements.
Skills:
- Expert level AWS experience in a DevOps role designing, developing, testing, integrating, and deploying and migrating mission critical applications and services to AWS environment(s).
- 3 Years experience of hands-on AWS experience implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications to AWS environments.
- Knowledge of RDS, EC2, FSx, AWS Backup, System Manger, CloudWatch monitoring and alerts, AWS storage, S3 Buckets, Load Balancing, Route 53, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub.
- Experience working in .NET development environment using C# and SQL Server. • Experience working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux Server.
- Experience working with Containers
- Experience working with Jenkins
- Experience working with Powershell scripting
- Experience of implementing scaling of AWS servers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to mentor other members of the team.

Responsibilities:
Application Development
- Full Stack .NET Development using C#, MVC and SQL Server
- Develop and implement software applications using .NET frameworks (.Net Core ASP.Net MVC, Razor and Web API)
- Write clean scalable and maintainable code
- Integrate third part API’s and services into the application
Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure developers adhere to best practices and coding standards
- Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Ability to write unit and functional tests
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Contribute to the professional development of team members
Documentation
- Document development processes, technical specifications, and updates to existing systems.
- Provide regular progress updates to the team lead or manager.
Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Excellent in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API skills
- Some exposure to Blazor would be preferred.
- Experience of working with ORM’s such as Entity Framework and Dapper.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing TSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity of working with Signal R and Hangfire or similar technologies
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies

- Ability to communicate well with a team remotely, attaining all necessary information to perform your tasks
